Spring25 meta-release

RM team is expecting a pre-release before Dec 7th for API teams to work with:

• Commonalities: when is the alpha/rc release planned ? M2 rc expected by Dec 9th

  • Restructuring could wait after M2 (as a second rc)

  • Rafal Artych to discuss in next Commonalities meeting to create a first pre-release with merged PRs

• ICM: when is the alpha/rc release planned ? Tanja de Groot ask Axel to create alpha release ASAP.

M2

• Risk of delay due to delayed M1- need more time to cover all changes.

M3

• Risk of being delayed into 2025.

Fall24 meta-release

• M6 pending on r21r2.1 publication.

Align also Working Group release numbering with the rx.n numbering schema starting in Spring25 cycle enhancement #94 opened on Sep 6 by hdamker - keep open till referenced issues close.

API Versioning - Aggregation backlog question release management #14 opened on Jul 6, 2023 by chrishowell - @Tanja toask Chris to confirm that the v0.y approach solves the issue.
