Project leads stated the recently opened issues are targeting many enhancements to the existing API design available.
@Lyle Bertz shared insights from Governance Board meeting that changes to the CloudEvents are planned for Spring’26 and Fall’26
CapabilitiesAndRuntimeRestrictions group will need to coordinate with the Commonalities for alignment on the changes
@Murat Karabulut stated that given the major enhancements identified, a single PR which will provide an overhaul of the existing API design.
While this PR is expected to introduce some deviations from what Commonalities guide(s) state, it was noted that given the ‘Sandbox’ designation, such changes should be expected and acceptable.
