Release Management releases

The Release Management process, as well as the supporting release management artefacts required by API Sub Projects, are published in the ReleaseManagement GitHub repository.

This GitHub repository provides the following documentation and artefacts:

• the automated API release process documentation (

• release metadata schema artifacts

• release progress tracking data artefacts

• validation framework design documentation

The latest release r4.1 is the baseline for Sync26 and for the forward-looking r4.x release
process. It was published for the Spring26 M6 milestone.

The artefacts are versioned and release managed in the same way as done for Commonalities and ICM. The VERSION.md file holds the version of the Release Management documentation.
