• TSC Chair & Co-Chair election: Herbert Damker has been re-elected as TSC Chair. Eric Murray and Ludovic Robert will continue to serve as Deputy Chair.

• ProjectCharter and ProjectStructureAndRoles updated for Sandbox/Incubated/Graduated approach.

  • API Backlog is already considering new approach for new API proposals

  • Details of Incubation will be worked out into an updated “API-Onboarding-and-Lifecycle.md” (previously “API-Onboarding”).

  • New structure of wiki will have sections Working Groups, Sub Projects (as today), Graduated/Incubated API Repositories, and Sandbox Repositories. This will make API Repositories first-citizens within the CAMARA wiki beside the Sub Projects.

• Release Management

  • For M2 of Spring25 release Commonalities and ICM have delivered their alpha versions. All API Repositories are asked to consider the changes in these releases within their API release candidates for Spring25.

  • For M3 (Release candidates of APIs for Spring25 meta-release), milestone is currently Dec 21st, but will most likely moved, see below in Release Management section

  • M6 has been declared by the RM team on 2024-11-19. The Fall24 meta-release cycle is closed.

    • Release Management documentation has been updated with the feedback and released as r2.1.

  • Patches of Fall24 API releases may be created as needed and shall be documented on the existing release tracker. Please involve @camaraproject/release-management_maintainers as usual (important for proper updates of Fall24 information).

    • Commonalities and ICM alpha releases are available for use by the API Sub Projects.

    • All Fall24 APIs need to check the released Commonalities & ICM updates as most (if not all) API definitions will be impacted. See the guidelines provided by those teams. All Fall24 APIs need to create a new API release tracker for Spring25!

  • M3 (2024-12-21) API Sub Projects to finalize their API development

    • Ideally API Sub Project shall deliver their release-candidates for the current M3 on 2024-12-21.

    • On the TSC meeting of Dec 19th it will be decided if the M3 date should be pushed out.

    • Update would move M3 to 2025-01-17 as the final cut-off date for API release candidate PRs. However, the earlier the APIs create their release PR for review the better.

• Sandbox APIs: any APIs not planned for any meta-release should also create their API release tracker to give wide visibility - please label the tracker with “camara-other”
