Topic 4 - Website

• API descriptions

  • In the moment we have only a copy of each Sub Project Github Readme.md at the CAMARA website. But interested people are more looking for (nice) API descriptions. GSMA has already API descriptions on their website: GSMA Open Gateway API Descriptions . Proposal from GSMA is to join forces, create nice API descriptions and host it on the CAMARA website so that GSMA can link to it.

  • We have worked with GSMA on a concept for it. Concept is approved by GSMA product workstream and CAMARA TSC.

  • LF creative team has been working on blueprints for table and API description. OR to review and decide:

    • Blueprint for API table is here. Proposed changes:

      • Use mouseover tips for the little API descriptions to make the table more compact

      • Insert (small) API icons which are used in the CAMARA presentation to have more visuals

      • Same space for all APIs

      • Split table in 2 sections: Upper section with mature APIs (part of meta releases), lower section with early development APIs

    • Blueprint / example for API description is here. Proposed changes:

      • Only link meta release versions

      • For non-mature APIs link initial versions

      • Link changelog instead ReDoc, Swagger, YAML

      • Remove “meet the team” because it is duplicate to Wiki link

      • Link GSMA page for API deployments of the API

      • Add description page version tracker
