Some points discussed

  • the Changelog should focus on releases

  • There is one Changelog per subproject, inside a given set of release notes, all APIs shall be listed. Sub-projects can decide if they group similar changes for all APIs or if they duplicate sub-sections per API. The first option seems more readible.

  • Tanja to describe process to create the changelog content using the GitHub release feature

  • Use the comment feature of markdown to remove comments from the display of the changelog file.

  • ref to commonalities or ICM releases to be included in the intro section if implying changes to the API.
